engagement: lindsay & mitch

We spent the day with Lindsay and Mitch shooting their engagement photos and eating milkshakes at Crystal Cove State Park in Newport Beach, California. This has become one of our favorite locations to shoot, with the beach, the park, Ruby's Shake Shack, and the beach cottages. It makes for great variety in the photos. Also, it doesn't hurt to have a great-looking couple like this to work with. It was Memorial Day weekend, and there were a ton of people at the beach, but with a little patience and creative angles, it looks like we were there all by ourselves! Marni's favorite part of the day was when we busted out the kite, which we've been wanting to use as a photography prop for months now. Lindsay and Mitch were such great sports, and we love how the kite photo turned out.
