special event: mckenzie's bat mitzvah

We've been looking forward to McKenzie's Bat Mitzvah for years! Literally, years. Her mom booked us for photography and videography services three years ago after we shot her sister Shelby's Bat Mitzvah. This festive affair started at Temple Israel in Long Beach. After the beautiful ceremony, the Big Red Bus double-decker took guests on an exciting ride over to the rocking reception at Khoury's Restaurant, also in Long Beach. There are so many fun traditions that take place at a reception of a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, including the Hora and raising the newly-minted woman in a chair dance. All of McKenzie's friends had a blast dancing and taking selfies, and we had a great time capturing every moment!
