1 year anniversary: ariel & brandon

We have had the pleasure of knowing Ariel and Brandon for a couple of years now. We met when they hired us the shoot their wedding. We then went to Temecula for the weekend to do their engagement photos and quickly became good friends (a few glasses of wine will do that, won't they?!). Then came time for their big day, which was now one year ago. To celebrate their one year anniversary, we did a shoot in Pasadena, California, where Ariel grew up and where the couple now lives. We started at Arlington Gardens with a picnic set-up, went to Ariel's old neighborhood and took some photos in front of a Frank Lloyd Wright house and on her old tree-lined street, moved on to a super-cool alley on the outskirts of Old Town, and finished at Arroyo Seco with some awesome action shots with holi powder. It was messy. It was fun. It was photographic gold.

engagement: april & mauricio

April and Mauricio were so nervous about being in front of the camera, but we think they look like complete naturals! We started off at Vista Hermosa Natural Park, which has an amazing view of Downtown Los Angeles. Although is was 90+ degrees, that didn't dampen their moods (as evident by these gorgeous photos). We then went on to the Arts District in Downtown and found a cool new brick building as a backdrop that we will definitely be coming back to!

 

engagement: etka & bobby

For Ekta and Bobby's ultra-chic engagement session we shot all around Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. These two were dressed to the nines, and looked like regular models while posing for these gorgeous photos. Can't wait to shoot their (two day!) Indian wedding in September.
