Maternity Photos: Brittany & Nick

One of the perks of being a wedding photographer is being granted the opportunity to follow our clients through their next stages in life. This is why we are over the moon for Brittany and Nick's maternity session. We shot their wedding last October in Camarillo and now they are adding a new member to their family. Brittany looked stunning in her flower crown in the field of wildflowers. We ended the session in a hidden field with breathtaking views of Downtown Long Beach.  We couldn't be more excited for these new parents!

 

studio m engagement: stefanie & drew

They met at Long Beach State while in nursing school and quickly became the best of friends. As nursing school concluded their romance took flight and they have never looked back. Stefanie and Drew are getting married this October and we couldn't be more excited for their wedding in San Juan Capistrano. This beautiful couple headed out to Long Beach with Studio M photographer, Aaron Monroe, for their engagement session.  Stefanie and Drew live in Belmont Shore and love to ride their bikes along the Long Beach boardwalk while the sun is setting. So, after grabbing a quick drink at Belmont Brewing Company Stefanie and Drew got on their beach cruisers and rode towards Shoreline Aquatic Park where the Queen Mary provides a lovely backdrop.  Below are a few of the photos of their engagement session.

chad proposed to kathlyn today

Chad and Kathlyn live on opposite sides of the country, and Chad knew that the next time that he came to Long Beach to visit, that he was going to pop the big question. He contacted us to take secret photos during the big moment. We brought Mikey with us as a decoy, pretending to take pictures of him when we were actually snapping photos of the proposal with our telephoto lens. It was such a sweet moment and by the end we were all crying. Kathlyn was so surprised to meet us after the proposal, and beyond ecstatic to be engaged, as you can imagine. It was such an amazing experience, and we hope that we get to be a part of their special day!

engagement: kelsey & bobby

Bobby and Kelsey are high school sweethearts who met at Lakewood High School (go Lancers!). We did their engagement session at the high school and in one of our favorite urban locations: downtown Long Beach.
